Sementara untuk kategori Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Jason Mraz (Make It Mine) sanggup mengalahkan John Legend (This Time), Maxwell (Love You), Seal (If You Don’t Know Me By Now) serta Stevie Wonder (All About The Love Again).
Sedangkan untuk kategori Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals, The Black Eyed Peas (I Gotta Feeling) berhasil merebut penghargaan mengalahkan Bon Jovi (We Weren’t Bort to Follow), The Fray (Never Say Never), Daryl Hall & John Oates (Sara Smile) serta MGMT (Kids).
Jason Mraz kembali memenangkan penghargaan untuk kategori Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals dengan lagu Lucky, hasil kolaborasinya bersama Colbie Caillat
The Black Eyed Peas berhasil merebut kategori Best Pop Vocal Album (The E.N.D.), mengalahkan Colbie Cailat (Breakthrough), Kelly Clarkson (All I Ever Wanted), The Fray (The Fray) serta Pink (Funhouse).
Lady Gaga berhasil membawa pulang penghargaan untuk kategori Best Dance Recording (Poker Face) dan Best Electronic/Dance dalam albumnya, The Fame.
Untuk kategori rock, Bruce Springsteen berhasil membawa pulang penghargaan untuk kategori Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance untuk lagu Working On A Dream. Sedangkan untuk kategori Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals, Kings of Leon berhasil memenangkan penghargaan tersebut dengan lagunya yang berjudl Use Somebody
